Adobe Lightroom, without a doubt is one of the most powerful photo editing software applications out there. Whether it’s used for subtle edits or to create a mind-blowing image transforming preset, Lightroom kills it every time. It can be used by anyone whether you’re a professional photographer or a complete beginner to image editing.

Along with the great tools Adobe have provided in app tutorials for how to use Lightroom and it will guide you through each of the tools and sections and explains more about what each of them does. These tutorials are how we started out! It can seem a be a little overwhelming at first but the more you use it the more comfortable you will get. Where Can You Use Lightroom

With Lightroom being available on both desktop and mobile, you can edit anywhere and anytime. The desktop version allows you to look closer at the details of the image to decide the changes you want to make, whereas the mobile app allows you to edit your image quickly and easily, without needing a laptop or monitor. The basic mobile version is also free, so although a lot less powerful, it's definitely worth picking up just to have a play around with and learn the basics without investing anything.

Content Management

Lightroom also allows you to organise and manage your photos and categorise them into albums and folders. If you take pictures when travelling for example and you want to keep you Tokyo pictures separate from Bangkok, then you can separate them out and just access the images you need.

Storage

If you have tonnes of photos there’s options to back up your images to the cloud. Adobe has lots of different package types that you can choose from going up to 1 Terabyte of memory. There are photography plans for just £10 per month on the adobe website, and you can upgrade your storage to suit your needs.
